SingleHop has announced it’s own content delivery network, dubbed IPCast. SingleHop focuses on managed web hosting, and with it’s IPCast, is aiming to bring CDN services to the SME segment, which has arguably been untouched by content delivery network providers.

The company expects high-demand from it’s new offering, by clients that are interested in CDN services, but have held off due to large commitments, and high prices. “IPCast will be billed at usage, at only $.20 per gigabyte, which is unheard of in the industry thus far. We’re excited to be about to offer IPCast at this price, with no commitment at all. “, says Zak Boca, President of SingleHop

The IPCast Content Delivery Network will be autoprovioned via the firm’s control panel- LEAP, which is the industries first Webtop for managed dedicated servers.
